I have been mulling over the best way to begin documenting my new adventures and have decided to keep this blog but you will notice all my old postings are gone.
As I prepare for my departure Jan 14, I will have a few comments but the real work begins when I get on that plane and head out again.
This time, for those who need an update, I am going to Gulu in Northern Uganda. My project is working on technology and I can not begin to explain how excited I am to be using my skills like this.
Our focus will be youth, women and the disabled. Put this together with the area of the world I will be in and, well lets say I know this will be a posting to challenge more than my technical skills.
I have to thank Mr. Romeo Dallaire for his most recent book about child soldiers, which provides me with a new perspective as I prepare to help young people have an alternative to the options available in post civil war areas.
Keep watching... I am sure some good stuff is going to happen.
